A new spellchecker with improved functionality and support for additional languages has been released with the last update of the Digiexam lockdown application (version 15.0.0).
The release will solve the previously reported issues of the text editor behaving buggy for some users when spellcheck is activated.
The spellchecker is still a manual spellcheck where misspelt words are indicated, but where the students themself change/edit the indicated word.
The spellcheck can be activated by the students with the On/Off button if the accessibility setting is allowed in the exam.
When the spellchecker is active there's a small icon in the bottom right corner.
A green icon indicates that no misspelt words are found.
Misspelt words are indicated in the text and through the icon in the bottom right corner.
If the mouse cursor is held over the indicator in the bottom right corner, three options are available:
1. On/Off
2. Switch language
3. Indicated words to change/correct
Under option 2, the additional spellcheck languages are shown
