Students answer with a long text (e.g. 500 words). A text question is appropriate for open-ended, short answers, fill-ins, and essay questions. The answer can include text, numbers, and drawings (see figure 1).
When grading text questions, it’s possible to comment and provide feedback directly in the student’s answer with the help of annotations.
Single choice question
Students are presented with a multiple choice question where only one answer choice is correct. This question type is corrected automatically when used with score based grading.
Multiple choice question
Students are presented with a multiple choice question where more than one answer is correct (see figure 3). This question type is only corrected automatically when used with score based grading if the student gets the answer completely correct or completely incorrect. If the student gets the answer partially correct, it is up to the teacher to go in and manually enter the score.
