Windows machines with ARM processors

As our trusted customer we, at Digiexam, want to inform you that the current version and first version of our new student application do not support ARM-based Windows device architectures. ARM-based Windows environments emulate applications that are built for native Windows environments and the current Digiexam student application is one such application. As a result of this emulation, Digiexam, by design, detects this environment, considers it as a virtual machine, warns for this, and prevents the user from starting an exam.

Does it affect you?

If you know that you are running new Windows devices with ARM architecture you will likely encounter a virtual machine detection warning when running Digiexam.

Steps towards a solution

Are you planning or have you already purchased Windows devices with ARM-based architecture? Please get in touch with us at customers@digiexam.com.

As a part of the Digiexam roadmap, we are in the process of developing the client app to support Windows ARM devices using processors that implement ARM architecture.
