The Digiexam Toolbox Application is an administrative application for Windows devices (ARM and x86_64 architectures) whose purpose is to provide users with a single application that can then handle installation, update and uninstallation of the Digiexam student application and lockdown application.
Use the link below to download the single .msi file to your Windows 64-bit or ARM PC. Digiexam Toolbox can be used in both bring-your-own-device environments and managed environments as a means to distribute the Digiexam Student application. Digiexam Toolbox should be installed as an administrator (or deployed with administrator privileges) to ensure that installation, uninstallation, updating and running the student app will function properly.
In a practical sense, Digiexam Toolbox gives the Digiexam Student app the ability to install, run and uninstall itself in cases where the Windows security features (user account control or policies) do not allow applications to do this without having elevated device permissions.

Install and update the Digiexam-app:
Case 1: Update from either the Legacy App or Previous 25+ App Versions
In the event that the Legacy app or older 25+ Digiexam app versions are installed on the device, choose "Update Digiexam" from the options menu. This will remove outdated app versions and install the latest version of the Digiexam Student app (version 25+).
Case 2: Fresh Install of the Digiexam Student App
If no previous versions of the Digiexam Student app are installed, you will only see an option to "Install Digiexam." Choose this from the Toolbox menu to install the Digiexam Student App.
A shortcut to Digiexam Toolbox and the Digiexam Student application should be installed and visible on your desktop. Students log in to the app using their e-mail and password or the "Open Digiexam app" after having logged into Digiexam's portal application in the web.
Please note! The Update Digiexam button automatically uninstalls the Legacy-app (version 15) and installs the latest version (25.X.X).
