What's the difference between the web application and the client?


 

Web application

School staff:
The web application (figure 1) is used by teachers and professors to create, start, administrate, grade and publish assessments and exams results to students.


Students:

The web application is used by students to:

  • Start the Digiexam client/app and thereafter an exam
  • View results and feedback for published results

Student client/app

The student client (figure 2) is where students complete and hand in their assessments and exams. Students can download the client here and find information regarding system requirements here.

When entering the Digiexam client/app. Exams can be found either by exam ID or in the section Active exams, depending on how the exam has been started by your professor.

Chromebook

Chromebook users continue to enter their credentials, such as full name, email, student code to be able to enter the client/app (figure 4).
